Bainbridge, Ga.- MHG, the manufacturer of one hundred percent biodegradable plastic, is pleased to announce they will be exhibiting at the 21st Annual CoastFest being hosted by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources/ Coastal Resources Division on October 3rd, 2015. The event will take place from 10 am to 4 pm at the GA DNR Coastal Regional Headquarters in Brunswick, Ga.
The event will have more than seventy environmental, educational, research and resource exhibitors from throughout the southeast to educate attendees about Georgia’s unique coastal environment and ways to help preserve for the future.
“We are excited to showcase our products and to demonstrate alternatives for the single use items that end up in the ocean, harming the ecosystem,” stated Scott Tuten, Chief Marketing Officer of MHG. “It is inevitable that some things will escape waste management streams, but PHA provides a last line of defense, and ours is the only one with the certified ability to break down in the ocean.”During the event, MHG will provide information about their PHA and bring products made with it for attendees to see and touch. Additionally, Bassmaster Elite Pro Angler, JTodd Tucker will be there to discuss the Rat-L-Trap lures being produced using MHG’s PHA, the effects of waste created by recreational fishing and ways to reduce it.
Following this event, MHG will be sponsoring the Lake Seminole Rat-L-Trap Open that is taking place on October 18th at Lake Seminole.
