The future of PHA is bright, and Danimer Scientific continues to grow to meet manufacturer demand. In December 2018, we purchased a location in Winchester, KY, to open the world’s first commercial production facility for PHA. In less than a year, the facility was retrofitted and ready to begin operations, and we sold our first full truckload of formulated PHA resin from the facility in January 2020.

The second phase of our facility was completed in 2022, which more than tripled its production capacity.
